Although Emer has had a wide and varied career in all fields of both traditional

and Holistic medicine her particular specialties include:


		Acupuncture
		Tui na Massage

Emer graduated as a Registered General Nurse from Hammersmith Hospital, London in 1990. Having worked as a nurse in a variety of specialties,in a number of hospitals,

both in Ireland and the U.K. before she returned to college to study Acupuncture.

She qualified as a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1999, by completing a 3 year course with the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland. Following this, Emer traveled to Nanjing University, China, where she worked and studied , to earn her Licentiate in Acupuncture.

Emer is a member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association, and spent a number of years serving as a committee member with them. A practicing therapist for in excess of 10 years, Emer has written a number of articles for the "Irish Times" health supplement regarding Acupuncture and has also appeared on TV AM.

Following the birth of her 3rd child last year, she now works solely in the Clontarf Holistic Centre.
